Our Process

So you’ve reached out because you’ve seen our work, heard about us from a friend, perhaps seen us on Instagram. 
 
There are a lot of designers out there, and there are a lot of clients. There is only one you though, and of course only one us. It’s important that our clients are all good if not fantastic fits. We’ll be going on an intimate journey together during an interior design project and you want to do that with someone you trust, someone you have confidence in. 
 
In order to help you with that we start with an Introductory Call where we each learn a little about one another and the project. If all signs point to being a potential fit we’ll send a Jumpstart Questionnaire and schedule our first appointment in your space. 

 

Our 5 Phase Process:

 

DISCOVERY

We call our first appointment a conversational interview. Far from a formal interview, this first meeting with you is a relaxed conversation with a purpose. At the end of this conversation, we hope you have a clear idea of what working with us might be like and if you can put your trust and confidence in us. And in return we’ll know how your project fits in with our schedule and areas of expertise. 

Projects that proceed will gather technical data and measurements, document what stays, and schedule a photoshoot to document the “before” as well as act as reference materials. 

The conceptual design phase exists to confirm your scope, layout, investment estimate, and aesthetic direction. 
 
We provide one round of revisions. We ask that you share all of your input at one time so that we can make edits as efficiently as possible. Revisions can add time to the project dependening on the scale of the revision. 
 
How can we be certain we’re giving you what we believe you need the first round? By doing our homework, a full discovery up front and then giving you 
the tools you need to not only feel confident we understand what you’re after but to be excited about it as well.

The detailed design phase exists to turn details into orders. 
 
We’ll present furnishings that are a fit for your budget, quality level and aesthetic using our industry knowledge and design expertise. We do not offer the ability for clients to see or sit test furnishings prior to purchase and thats often because it doesn’t exist until it’s made exclusively for you..

We source all furnishings and prepare written quotes and detailed proposals.

Place orders, track deliveries, and resolve deficiencies. 

If the design project requires a build or renovation we can provide project management

We oversee and coordinate deliveries

We follow up on any outstanding items.

We see the punchlist and all details to completion.

We provide our care guide to maintain your new furnishings and finishes.
