Indigo Lounge

Formerly ornate and formal this living room gave no clues to the family that live there, a fashionable and active family of 4. It had become more of a large hallway than a place to linger and lounge and was holding on tightly to the late 90s.

We gave the fireplace more dominance, and the built-ins a more contemporary silhouette. We embraced it being a place to watch tv and as the room was shallow we built our own bespoke lounge furniture. The palette went from late 90s to a timeless classic of indigo and taupe.

Best of all this once passthrough of a room became a place for the family and their 2 dogs to lounge on quiet days and cheer on their favorite football team while entertaining.
