Gilded Gray
Can a kitchen make you want to take cooking classes? This one did. Can it appear larger without actually making it larger? Again, this one did.
Our first mission was to drop the bar counter down to counter height. Second, we changed out the cherry, brown, and orange tones for a neutral palette of cool browns and warm grays. We demo’d the desk area and switched it out for a wet bar, and updated all the lighting, fixtures, and hardware to contemporary selections.
In the end the client got a brighter, more functional space, that seemed to double the kitchen footprint and raise the value of their home without a major remodel.
